Welcome to 1Run1Pastry, the only place where you can eat delicious pastry without the guilt of second pastry. I am Cédric, the ace of the stove and the king of the asphalt, I will be your guide on this gourmet adventure in Paris.
So, you may be wondering how a restaurant industry veteran and die-hard marathoner ended up combining his passions to create something as unexpected as running and baking tours of Paris. Well, the answer is simple: gluttony, passion for Paris, and an insatiable desire to go jogging.
Since my youth, I have navigated the tumultuous waters of cuisine and hospitality, always looking for the magic formula to dazzle the taste buds and souls of my guests. And since then, I started running. In fact, I've run over 23 marathons around the world, and 21,000 kilometers in this beautiful city of Paris, and believe me, I may have even passed more croissants than cars.
Three years ago, I had this crazy idea to combine these two loves – running and baking. Thus, the Instagram account @Luciole_des_Tuileries was born. I began to share my adventures throughout Paris and elsewhere, always accompanied by divine pastries from pastry chefs, and even from abroad. This trip made me meet incredible people, taste divine flavors, and even made me run even faster to reach these sweet treats.
Now, I am delighted to invite you to join us for a unique experience in Paris. Our guided running and pastry tasting tours of Paris are the result of my all-consuming passion for this city, for running, and of course, for sweets. Each route is lovingly designed to offer you an adventure that awakens your senses, introduces you to the hidden treasures of Paris and allows you to taste pastries to die for.
